Aqualyx is an injectable treatment that permanently liquidises fat cells and removes them from the body. It can be used in small areas on the chin, abdomen, back, arms, thighs, waist and just under the buttocks.
Aqualyx is an ideal approach for those who want to contour or remove stubborn fat areas that diet and exercise simply has not helped. It should be noted that the treatment is not suitable for those who are looking to lose weight.
Aqualyx treatment results are permanent provided you maintain your weight.
Depending on the extend of your concerns, between two and eight treatments will usually be recommended. Results will start to become noticeable after the second treatment.

As with all injectable treatments there are side effects and risks. It is normal for your skin to be slightly red and swollen immediately after any injectable treatment and mild bruising can also occur. These usually subside within 24-48 hours. Swelling may last up to seven days.
We do not offer Aqualyx treatment to those anyone under 18 years old, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have lipodystrophy, or anyone who is immunocompromised.
To ensure you get the best results, we will explain what to expect after treatment and email you aftercare instructions. These include avoiding alcohol, no exercise or excessive sweating for 72hrs, and no use of anti-inflammatory medications (eg. Ibuprofen) for 7 days.
