Line Relaxing Treatments
Wrinkles are a natural part of the ageing process which occur due to the effects of repeated muscular contractions from smiling, laughing, frowning, etc. Injectables can be used to block the process of muscle contraction thereby, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and lines eg frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet. Injectables can also be used to treat excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis).
N.B. Botulinum toxin is a prescription-only medicine that should only be prescribed and administered by an appropriately trained medical professional.

FAQ’s
Treatment takes effect within 24-72hrs and takes upto 14 days to be fully effective.
Anti-wrinkle treatments typically last 3-4months, though repeated treatments can have longer lasting effects. Treatment of excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) typically lasts 9 -12 months. Individual results may vary.
Anti-wrinkle injections are safe and effective with no severe complications reported. Bleeding, redness, swelling or bruising around the injection site may occur but this is usually self-limiting. Rarely, excessive weakening of the muscles can result in facial weakness. When injecting above the eye there is a potential 1;1000 risk of developing excessive eyebrow droop (ptosis). Should this occur, this can be medically managed.
Anti-wrinkle treatments should not be administered in anyone with certain neuromuscular disorders (ie myasthenia gravis), anyone taking blood-thinning medications or anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding.
